Restoring a classic 1959 35HP Johnson Super Seahorse Outboard Motor

Do-it-yourself Texas boater restores 59-year-old clunker into a vintage beauty.

Dear MarineEngine.com,

I started restoring my ’59 35hp Johnson Super Seahorse (model RDSL-21) this past winter during the weekends and evenings. I rebuilt the carburetor, fuel pump, magneto and gear case. A few more steps and I’ll have this motor running!

I can’t wait to start my next project. It’s a 1958 5.5 hp CD-15.  I’ll be depending on MarineEngine.com for all the parts I need.

Thank you for having the parts I need for my restoration project.  Your website is easy to use and the ordering and shipping processes are great!  I especially found the exploded views of each section of this model to be extremely helpful.

Sincerely,

Rob J., Round Rock, TX
